Letter of appointment of Customs Broker
We inform our customers (Importers and Exporters), that in case of no delivering the original
Letter of appointment of customs broker to General Customs and no entrusted assignment, citing the designated
custom broker´s data in order to perform the operations entrusted, you could not perform import or export operations
from January 1st, 2004, since article 59 section 3 of the Customs Law shall not be fulfilled
The Letter of appointment of customs broker aims to prove before the customs the entrusted assignment to the customs broker,
to whom a copy must be sent for incorporating it to our official record.
Therefore, it is urgently needed to send this document as soon as possible, with the format and according to the instructions
specified in the attached file.

Declaration of value
We inform our customers that in order to fulfill the legal provisions related to the documents that
the Importer must provide to the Customs Broker under the authority of article 59 section III of
the Customs Law in force, the importer must deliver the Declaration of Value..
The Declaration of Value is a document is a probative document before the Customs Authority
with the elements use to determine the value of the merchandise to import.
This document could be submitted for each import operation or for a period of six months.
In order to fulfill the above mentioned we attached the format of the Declaration of Value in force,
which must be filling according to the format 36 published in the annex 1 of the General Rules on Foreign Trade
for 2012 published in the Federal Official Gazette on September 6th, 2012 and which must be signed by the
importer or his/her Legal Representative
